Volpi Cup
The Volpi Cup is the award given out during the Venice Film Festival for the best interpretations by an actor and an actress.
The acknowledgement, first given out at the second edition of the festival (1934), is named after Count Giuseppe Volpi di Misurata, president of the Venice Biennial and father of the film festival.
