Palazzo Benzon, eighteenth-century residence overlooking the Grand Canal, is the prestigious venue of Carnival in Love Grand Ball, the sophisticated costume party which will take place on Saturday, February 25, 2017. Beginning and dinner from 08:00 pm; after dinner party from 11:00 pm to all night long.
The event is produced by Sogno Veneziano Atelier, specializing in the realization of historical clothings and in the organization of costumed events.
Cena in costume A magical night, characterized by the atmosphere suspended in time, recalling glorious and decadent past ages when sin was a matter of style: an event that focuses on the fun and pleasure but closely related to the aesthetics, art and luxury.
Venue of this party is a palace built in the XVIII century, the libertine age par excellence: Palazzo Benzon whose most famous amphitryon was Marina Querini Benzon who lived at the turn of the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries.
With Marina Querini Benzon the building became one of the most important literary salons of Venice: a setting for parties, as magnificent that the romantic novelist Stendhal once said “the parties at Palazzo Benzon are more enjoyable than parties in Paris.”
The palace was also attended by great artists and writers; two names? Giacomo Casanova and Lord Byron, serial seducers whose echoes of courting and amorous enterprises will resound also in Carnival Love Grand Ball.
Carnival of Love Grand Ball “Labyrinth of Sins” starts at 08:00 pm with a welcome drink at the ground floor and a placè dinner at the Piano Nobile with sumptuous dishes and amazing performances by international artists.
From 11:00 pm, discotheque with open bar all night long.
For those who attend the whole event is required the historical costume. For those who choose to attend only at the after dinner party is sufficient the evening dress with mask.
For those who do not have historical costume Sogno Veneziano Atelier offers its own creation through special packages.
