The XXII Edition of Il Ballo del Doge, considered the most exclusive event during the Carnival of Venice, will take place Saturday 14 February 2015 in Palazzo Pisani Moretta from 20.30 on.
The chosen theme for the next edition is Cupid in Wonderland, a great tribute to love that has always accompanied Antonia Sautter, the creator and producer of the event, during a unique evening, unrepeatable, emotional and memorable. After the Welcome Cocktail a place’ dinner is foreseen in the different rooms of the Palace. The great show made up of an emotional crescendo of artistic performances, melodies and dances, will last until the early hours of the morning. From midnight on a disco will be open on the ground floor with two open bars at the Guests disposal until the evening closes.
Tickets
There are 4 types of tickets:
1. SUPER VIP ENTRY (2500,00 Euro per person) on the second floor of the Palace:
- Entrance to Palazzo Pisani Moretta 8:30 pm
- Welcome Cocktail on the ground floor
- Place’ dinner on the Second Floor of the Palace in the “SUPER VIP LOUNGE” ( 5 Tables Front Stage)
- View of the great Il Ballo del Doge show during the dinner
- Dedicated Services
- Disco from 00:30 am on the Ground Floor
- Open bar
2. VIP ENTRY (2000,00 Euro per person) on the Second Floor of the Palace:
- Entrance to Palazzo Pisani Moretta 8:30 pm
- Welcome Cocktail on the Ground Floor
- Place’ dinner on the Second Floor of the Palace in the “SUPER VIP LOUNGE” ( 5 Tables close to the door and the Open Bar
- View of the great Il Ballo del Doge show during the dinner
- Dedicated Services
- Disco from 00:30 am on the Ground Floor
- Open bar
3. FULL ENTRY (1600,00 Euro per person) on the First Floor of the Palace:
- Entrance to Palazzo Pisani Moretta at 9:00 pm
- Welcome Cocktail on the Ground Floor
- Place’ dinner in the rooms on the First Floor of the Palace
- View of the great Il Ballo del Doge show in the Central Salon on the First Floor
- Disco from 00:30 am on the Ground Floor
- Open bar
4. AFTER DINNER ENTRY (800,00 Euro per person):
- Entrance to Palazzo Pisani Moretta from 11:30 pm
- Welcome Cocktail on the Ground Floor
- Access to all different Rooms and Salon of the Palace
- Disco from 00:30 am on the Ground Floor
- Open bar
Dress Code and Costumes
For the Il Ballo del Doge period costume is the obligatory dress code. Therefore evening dresses and tuxedos are not allowed.
In Atelier Antonia Sautter you have the possibility of admiring more than 1500 Haute Couture costumes with collections which range from Medieval times up to the 20s in the XX century completely ‘revisited’ by Antonia Sautter’s creativity and fantasy. The spectacular costumes that each year are created by the designer herself for Il Ballo del Doge, they are “unique pieces” with “period style Haute Couture” realized and decorated totally by hand with rich trimmings, Swarovski crystals, ribbons and precious fabrics.

During Carnival period costume fittings will take place in Atelier Antonia Sautter situated in San Marco, Calle Del Carro 1628 or in the Hotel Bauer (Sala Cesetti on the First Floor), where a second Atelier will be set up for this occasion.
Costume fittings can be held at any time during the year in Atelier Antonia Sautter, which, in that case, will be entirely reserved for the Guest.
It is necessary to communicate your arrival dates to us so we can find a time that works best for you. For this occasion besides the Atelier Antonia Sautter another Atelier will be set up on the first floor of the Hotel Bauer. You are informed that costume fittings can be booked during the year so as to avoid overflow during the days of Carnival.
All hired costumes can be collected and delivered back either by clients or by booking a delivery service. (See Section ‘Extra services’).
The cost of the costume varies on how precious the garment is.
